This Wednesday (February 16) is a day full of events for Threadbared and Friends of Threadbared.
- Thuy Linh N. Tu sits down with NPR commentator Brian Lehrer for an interview on WNYC. If you’re listening from New York, tune into to 93.9FM or 820AM at 10am. If you’re listening from anywhere else, check your local NPR station or just listen online.
- Thuy Linh N. Tu; Eugenia Paulicelli (author of Fashion Under Fascism: Beyond the Black Shirt and co-editor of The Fabric of Cultures: Fashion, Identity, and Globalization); and I discuss “Writing Fashion, From Book to Blog” at 20 Cooper Square at NYU Wednesday evening. We hope this will be a lively discussion with lots of audience participation so Threadbared readers please do come and represent! (Also, stop by and say hello!) For more information, see the Humanities Initative website (“Upcoming Events”).
Note: the website contains an error that I’ve tried to have corrected twice. Obviously, I’m not the sole founder of Threadbared. This fabulousness takes two!

So glad she was interviewed, but seriously disappointed that they had that idiot (Oriental designers?!) as the only caller.
