ART: Sonic Fabric Ties

Fashion and music share a long and complex history. The conceptual artist Alyce Santoro is intertwining these histories in intriguingly material ways by repurposing audiocassette tapes into mixed media eco-fashionable ties (from $90 – $140). Most fabulous is the synaesthetic component of the sonic fabric.
